- It's a pleasure to find anything by Marion Harland. The only thing better would be to find an autographed copy. Great for people who love her writing rather than just the dollar value of the Book. However, the book is quite lovely and nicely bound.
- Ever wonder how housewives handled the house in the past times ? I am fascinated by how households were run in the "early days", and t his books satisfies. Has neat hints and recipes, etc. An interesting read.
