A young man didn't like slavery and helped them get away to safety after his half-brother had been murdered. He pretended to be a drunk to get what he needed to help the people. The girl ran from her escorts and joined the young man's wagons hiding there. A must read for those who enjoy historical western romance kindle books from at a special price and from a delightful author who keeps me entertained throughout the entire book before putting it down.
